    🛒 Ingredient notes

ingredients to make a dill pickle martini.
    • Ice – Chills everything down so your martini is cold and crisp.
    • Vodka – Clean and smooth. It lets the pickle flavors shine. You can swap with gin if you prefer a more botanical base.
    • Dill pickle juice – The star! Brings briny, vinegary goodness. Use juice from your favorite jar of dill pickles.
    • Cornichons – Tiny French pickles that are tart and crunchy. They’re perfect for garnish and bonus snacking.
    • Fresh dill – Makes it feel elevated. Adds a subtle herbal finish that complements the pickles.

    👩🏻‍🍳 Recipe FAQs

pouring dill pickle martini into a martini glass.
Can I use gin instead of vodka?

Absolutely. Gin adds a more aromatic, herbal vibe to the cocktail. If you like a traditional martini, go for it.

What kind of pickle juice works best?

Go with dill! Stay away from sweet or bread-and-butter pickles. Look for ones with garlic and herbs if you want more depth.

What if I don't have a cocktail shaker?

While a cocktail shaker helps, but it’s not required. You can stir it with ice in a glass or mason jar and strain it into your martini glass.

Can I make a batch of this cocktail?

Yes! Multiply the ingredients and keep the batch in the fridge. Just shake or stir each serving with ice before pouring.
