Feast Portland 2017 is here! 

The four-day food and beverage festival known as Feast Portland kicks off tomorrow, Thursday, September 14, and runs through Sunday, September 17, 2017.

In addition to feasting on a glorious amount of tantalizing dishes made by A-list chefs, Feast Portland attendees are also able to taste from a large number of breweries, distilleries, and wineries. 

After looking at the winery line-up, I am super EXTRA excited for what's in store! This year's list of wineries include so many that I have had the pleasure of working with or sampling in the past, and I just know Feast Portland attendees will enjoy them, too.

Get your glass ready. Here are my picks for wines to watch at Feast this year!

Feast Portland Wines 2017

14 hands

Grown in incredible terroir in eastern Washington, 14 Hands wines include big, fruit-forward reds and crisp, juicy whites. These are great wines to enjoy with dinner, with friends, and make great hostess gifts!

Adelsheim Vineyard

Adelsheim Vineyard Elizabeth's Reserve Pinot Noir is one I seek out when I'm searching for quality wine to serve to someone who has never tried an Oregon Pinot Noir. Founded in 1971 and is one of Oregon’s few pioneering wineries that is still locally owned.

Browne Family Vineyards

Known primarily for Cabernet Sauvignon, a Bordeaux red blend and Chardonnay, Browne Family Vineyards has expanded to nine varieties sourced from the legacy vineyards of five distinctive viticultural areas within the Columbia Valley.

Cristom Vineyards

Cristom Vineyards began a quarter of a century ago as a collaboration between three men: an engineer, a biochemist, and a farmer. They craft elegant, dynamic wines, and I have a particular soft spot for their amazing Estate Pinot Noir.

Founded in 1984 and based in New Mexico, Gruet Winery specializes in Methode Champenoise sparkling wines. The brut rosé you see pictured above is absolutely lovely. Gruet produces Pinot Noir and Chardonnay-based sparkling wines and a small collection of still wines, with roots originating from Gilbert Gruet’s Champagne house in Bethon, France.

Hazelfern Cellars

I adore so much about Hazelfern Cellars - the wines, the people, the beautiful barn tasting room - and I know you will, too! Bryan and Laura Laing started their wine craft in 2006 while making five gallons of Pinot Noir in a dimly lit Portland, Oregon basement on the former site of Hazelfern Farms. Now you can spend an afternoon tasting their wines and enjoying the view at their Chehalem Mountains wine farm

Piper-Heidsieck Champagne

A girls' gotta have some bubbly while at Feast Portland, and you will love the Piper-Heidsieck champagne.

Ponzi Vineyards

I've written about Ponzi Vineyards a lot on Urban Bliss Life. Founded in 1970 in Oregon’s lush Willamette Valley, Ponzi Vineyards is internationally acclaimed for producing some of the world’s finest Pinot Noir in the world. This is one winery where my husband and I can always count on quality wines from year to year.

Soter Vineyards has one of the most beautiful wineries, with private cabins available for an unparalleled wine tasting experience with friends. This world-class producer and grower of exceptional Pinot Noir and sparkling wine in Carlton, Oregon makes one of my all-time favorite Brut Rosés.

Stoller Family Estate

Stoller Family Estate makes my favorite stainless steel Chardonnay that I've tried so far. A stunning vineyard property with beautiful tasting rooms, Stoller is located on the southern slope of the Dundee Hills. If you are in town and have time to visit their tasting room, I highly recommend it!
