Dog-approved homemade dog treats
We've always had labrador retrievers in our family. They're so fun, active, and full of love.
Right now, we've got Ace - AKA Urban Bliss Dog – in our family. He is a super sweet, friendly, very active black lab retriever who loves every person and every animal he meets. And, he LOVES treats. He's 500% motivated by food.
The first time I made these frozen peanut butter banana dog treats for Ace, he was SO excited! He loves these so much, and I hope your special pup loves them, too!
What you need to make these homemade frozen dog treats
To make these treats for your special dog, you just need:
A high powered blender - Use a high powered blender to blend the 3 ingredients together. If you don't have a blender, you can also use a food processor. Just be sure to blend all of the ingredients until smooth.
Silicone molds - I have this adorable dog paw mold and this dog bone mold. You can find silicone molds in many other shapes but these are the two I use frequently for dog treats. They end up being so cute! And, the treats are just the right size - not too big and not too small.
3 Ingredient Dog Treats
This recipe is SUPER simple and has just THREE ingredients:
- Peanut Butter
- Banana
- Plain or Vanilla Yogurt
That's it!
How to make frozen peanut butter banana dog treats
Blend them all together in a high-powered blender until smooth. This usually just takes a minute or two.
Spoon the blended mixture into the molds. I use a tablespoon measuring spoon and find that one tablespoon usually fills about one and a half mold openings for these two particular silicone food molds.
Place the molds in the freezer for 2 hours, or until the treats are completely frozen.
Store treats in the freezer and remove from the freezer to feed to your dog(s) one at a time.
Homemade Dog Treat FAQs
Once frozen, you can take them out of the molds and place into freezer-safe bags. Take one treat out at a time to feed to your special dogs!
You can store these treats in freezer-safe airtight bags or containers in the freezer for up to three months.

So I made your yogurt, banana, peanut butter dog treats.
after it was mixed, i put some on my finger and only 2 out of 8 dogs would lick it off.
then i put some in small plastic containers and they all loved it. Who knows, it must
