Memorial Day Weekend is a great time to go wine tasting. It's typically a very busy weekend for most wineries, as it marks the inaugural tastings of many spring wine releases. But it's also a time whenย you get the chance to check out many wineries that aren't normally open to the public. Many wineries also offer library wine tastings, tours, discounted wines, food, and live music.
Here are a few of my favorite wineries in the Yamhill-Carlton area of the Willamette Valley wine tasting region of Oregon to visit this Memorial Day Weekend. Cheers!

What used to be a sweet little secret favorite winery has been booming over the past couple of years as Alloro's public presence continues to grow. For an additional $10, you can join David and Tom in the barrel cave for a tasting of their limited production Reserve Pinot Noir wines.
