Ingredients

cup
all-purpose flour

cocoa

sugar
2 ½

baking powder

tsp
salt

nonfat or 1% milk

butter
melted

large egg
lightly beaten

cup
chocolate chips
Instructions
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well mixed.
Add milk, butter, and egg, and mix well until mixture is well blended.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Heat a skillet over medium heat until warm. Drop a pat of butter into pan and coat the pan.
Pour pancake batter slowly onto griddle, allowing batter to form small-to-medium-size circles (whatever size you prefer).
Wait until batter becomes bubbly before flipping over to the other side. Try to flip pancakes just once.
Repeat with remaining batter. Coat skillet with more butter in between batches as needed.
