In a medium bowl, whisk together the ingredients for the dressing. Set aside, or pour into a salad dressing container and set aside.
In a large bowl, toss together the salad ingredients.
Pour the dressing over the salad and toss all ingredients together. Or, you can serve the dressing on the side.

Makes approximately 6-10 servings, depending on your serving size.Additional ingredient options: This salad is also delicious with ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese. Add ½ teaspoon to 1 teaspoon of lemon juice to the dressing for more acidity. Add 1 teaspoon of honey to the dressing for added sweetness and to thicken the dressing.Vegan option: Substitute vegan mayonnaise and omit the bacon to make this a vegan broccoli salad.
